Top books for morning reading

Some mornings might involve stumbling out of bed and drinking all the caffeine, others with yoga and meditation, others with a workout and others with a full English breakfast. And sometimes, all of the above. But for the mornings where you want to have a little read, the books I've listed below are sure to set a mindful and positive tone for your day.

Happiness - Thich Nhat Hanh

A short read, packed with a lot of ways to bring more peace and - you guessed it - happiness into your life, through mindfulness practices.

Oneness with All Life - Eckhart Tolle

A book of quotes and short paragraphs that you can open up at any page to inspire you to bring more presence into your daily life.

A New Earth - Eckhart Tolle

A must for self-development and building inner peace and presence and for shifting your perspective of the past, present, future and all in between.

Journey of Souls - Michael Newton

An American hypnotherapist takes us through the accidental discoveries made of the afterlife during his hypnotherapy sessions, using the incredible case studies of countless patients who all gave strikingly similar accounts of the journey of the soul.

Self Reiki - Jasmin Harsono

Great for picking up and taking what you need, with quick and easy to follow steps on ways to cleanse your energy and balance any anxiousness ahead of a big event, various types of meditations including morning meditations, and even self-healing.

Many Lives, Many Masters - Brian Weiss

All about a sceptical hypnotherapist and his amazing work with a patient, leading to the realisation that her traumas and recurring nightmares could be traced back to past life experiences.

I hope that if you pick up any of these books, that they bring as much light into your life as they brought into mine.
