Earlier this year, I had the great opportunity of writing a couple of words for University College London on how to stay positive during times of uncertainty. It was so nice to be able to work with the alumni team to create a resource that other alumni could read. In the resource, I cover the biology behind how we feel and ways to invite some balance in mind, body, and spirit even amidst all the uncertainty in the world.
It occurred to me that I should share this resource on my website too since we are still collectively in a state of turbulence. My aim is for this piece to serve as a reminder that while we cannot - and do not - control what happens, we can control how we respond and how we feel.
