Earlier this month, I was invited into Estee Lauder's London offices for Aveda's Tulasara launch. This post is all about my experience there and a step-by-step guide on how to use some of the products from Aveda's new launch. Let me begin this post by acknowledging just how dreamy One Fitzroy Place is (I'd felt like I'd stepped into something similar to the offices in The Internship).
The coolest lifts ever.
Held in the gorgeous Sky Room overlooking the city, the event begun with finding out about our body type, based on Ayurvedic beliefs that everything in the universe is made up of the five elements. The three body types are Vata (air & space), Pitta (air & water) and Kapha (earth & water). A talk on the history of Aveda and a tutorial followed; I then had the opportunity to have a personalised skin experience with an Aveda skin expert! The experience encouraged me to make Aveda a part of my daily routine, so below is an easy step-by-step guide on how you can too.
1) For a minute or so, move the brush in circular, sweeping motions from the décolleté and upwards, to get rid of any impurities. Then sweep outwards, back down to the décolleté.
2) Use the Radiant Oleation Oil to massage the skin and keep on for 4 minutes, before cleansing.
Thank you to the people at Aveda and Estee Lauder for a great event! Find out more about the range at www.aveda.co.uk & keep up to date on their Instagram @AvedaUK.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
