Collaborating is always a joy. Yet when it’s one of your favourite brands, it becomes even more exciting. This post is all about the goodies sent over to me by the lovely people at Boots and No7’s PR agency as well as a few of my regular picks.
Airbrush Away Colour Balancing Primer
This was my first time using a primer, as I’ve always been a bit sceptical about whether or not it makes much of a difference. However, my opinion has changed! Applying this primer after moisturising (I use No7’s Beautiful Skin Day Cream – SPF 15) is the little step in between moisturising and foundation that makes a big difference.
Airbrush Away Radiance Boosting Primer
This product does exactly what it says; it’s perfect for creating a radiant complexion, a healthy glow and providing a solid basis for the rest of your look.
Foundation: Beautifully Matte – Deeply Beige
I’ve experimented with my fair share of foundations, but I’ve stopped at this one. It cannot be matched in terms of coverage and durability; it gives a great base for any look that you want to achieve and can last through even the most hectic of days.
Foundation (used as concealer) Compact Stay Perfect – Calico
I find that using foundation as a concealer is great for long-lasting under-eye coverage. I use a couple of shades lighter than my foundation.
Glistening Coral Blush Palette
I’ve tried various bronzing and blush palettes. This, however, is up there with my favourites. What sets this product apart from others is that it has hints of pink among the bronze shades, meaning it accentuates and contours without looking too bold or unnatural.
Intense Volume Mascara
I always switch between different brands when it comes to mascara. Just the other day, a waitress had asked if my lashes were real or not! I have never worn fake lashes purely because I haven’t felt the need to, thanks to the following two gems: For a daytime look, I alternate between one coat of either No7’s Intense Volume or L’Oreal’s False Lash Telescopic. For an evening look and for dramatic effect, I apply both – combined, they give great volume and length.
Matte Lip Crayon
I'll put my hands up and say I'm not one for pink on the lips. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how subtle this shade was (pictured above) while still making a statement.
It’s always a mission deciding which products to invest in and whether or not they’ll achieve what they promise to. However, I genuinely recommend trying the above products, as they definitely scored highly with me. Thanks again to Boots and No7; this won’t be the last you’ll see of them on my blog!
